Using academic play as the foundation, AfterSchool@RCS provides exciting opportunities for students to build friendships and explore new interests while helping families meet their childcare needs.
Rippowam Cisqua School offers two after school programs for students:
CAT: CAT is after school childcare for students in Junior PreKindergarten - Grade 4. CAT provides a safe, relaxed environment where students make friends of different ages and participate in engaging and unique activities. CAT is available Monday through Thursday until 5:30 p.m. and Fridays until 5:00 p.m.
After School Classes: After school classes are offered to students in Junior PreKindergarten - Grade 4. After school classes take place at various times and can be paired with CAT or other classes to suit your family’s schedule.
Registration for both programs typically takes place in July/August and November so that parents can tailor their children’s participation. Additional classes may be added throughout the year.

I am so grateful for the Children's After-School Time (CAT) program. As a working mother, my daughters spend a lot of time at CAT. By participating in drama, chess, creative writing, and singer’s club, they have learned valuable skills and developed close friendships. My preschooler has met many 3th and 4th graders in CAT and her “big friends” hug and chat with her in the halls.

The afterschool programs are an amazing part of RCS. The children absolutely love it and of course it can be a huge help to parents to have amazing programs right at the school.

I have three boys the same age...each one with different interests, the after school programs are so diverse that they all have something they love...chess, acting, sports and arts and crafts...And there is still so much more.
